I obtained my BA degree in Humanities (2009) and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (2010) at the University of Stellenbosch.

I then completed my Honours Degree in Psychology at the University

of the Western Cape (2011) and subsequently completed

my internship as a registered Counsellor at Tygerberg Hospital’s TygerBear Social Work Unit for Traumatised Children and Families (2012). After registering as a Counsellor, I worked for various NGO’s within the Western Cape (until 2017) where I specifically

worked with children and families.

I completed my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Western Cape (2019) and subsequently completed

my Internship at Stikland Psychiatric Hospital (Outpatient Ward,Inpatient Therapy Ward & Alcohol Rehabilitation Ward)

and Tygerberg Hospital (Adult Psychology and Psychiatry Unit & Medical Psychology Unit).

I completed my Community Service year at Robert Mangaliso Sobukwe Hospital in Kimberley (2021) after which I registered with

the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist - Independent Practitioner (2021).
